Restaurant: Santa Maria

what do you do when you are on vacation - do you eat in the off beaten, small, unknown restaurants - or do you seek out the known destinations - which may not always please the palate - but may give you a sense of being a tourist.

I would eat here again - the fried fish sandwich I ate was good and they took the fries back to make them more crispy for me - out door eating would be fantastic here for the ambiance of being out in the middle of the Intracoastal Waterway  - the docks have a replica wooden Galleon spanish ship and pirate ships and charter ships...

Product Review: Chocolate

Whetstone's milk chocolate bar - pretty - waxy tasting - would not purchase again.

Restaurant: La Herencia Cafe

Cuban food - La Herencia Cafe at 4 Aviles St - one of those places you hoipe never goes out of business and never replaces the chef /owner - the best flan - the best capuccino - eaten to date!  we only went for desert - outdoor seating and in - fun street -

Umm...

we met Chef Manny- this is a photo from their website

Restaurant: Hurricane Patty's

a very fun place with extensive menu of fish, fried, and other bar food!  good cocktails! family and friend get together for large dinner parties...we had rawed oysters which were gritty - some of them- and not very tasting of the sea - that is because they were farmed - but I would suggest the fried fish platters for a place like this anyway for future reference.

Restaurant: The Present Moment Cafe
